Robert Farrugia is an ambient musician and sound artist from Malta. He has been creating music for over a decade and has published work with labels such as Phantom Limb, Archives, and rohs! records. As a solo artist, his work interweaves electro-acoustic warmth with brittle electronic textures to create reflecting, refracting soundscapes. This approach is evident on albums like Slow Morning, Worn, Adrift, and Voicemail, which blend cinematic atmospheres with downtempo electronica. Classically trained in piano, Robert draws on that foundation in subtle ways—using minimalistic piano motifs combined with gentle loops, analogue textures, and evolving ambient tones to explore emotion through sound, creating vignettes that explore memories, moods and places that are significant to him.
